Yum Sauce (Salty, Curry, or Spicy)

Valentina

This 3-ingredient sauce is good on everything - and you probably have the ingredients in your fridge already. Use it to jazz up chicken, fish, burgers, tacos, and even vegetables. The main two ingredients are always the same: mayonnaise and dijon mustard. Then pick your wild card flavor: soy sauce, curry, or hot sauce.

  2. Serve: Enjoy your sauce on pretty much everything. It's especially good with roasted frozen vegetables and chicken.

Note 1: Mayonnaise has the richest flavor here, but you can also keep it lighter with a 50/50 blend of plain Greek yogurt and mayonnaise (or use 100% Greek yogurt).

  • 4 tablespoons paleo mayonnaise (and/or tahini)
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder Spicy Yum Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons paleo mayonnaise (and/or tahini)
  • 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce of choice (adjust to taste)

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Choose between the salty, curry, and spicy yum sauce recipes. Then stir together the ingredients until smooth. If using tahini, you will need to add 1 tablespoon of water for every 1 tablespoon of tahini used.
  2. Serve: Enjoy your sauce on pretty much everything. It's especially good with roasted frozen vegetables and chicken.

Recipe Notes

If using tahini here, it should taste rich and slightly sweet, not at all abrasive. If your tahini has a bitter flavor, I recommend trying another brand. The texture and flavor depends on the type of sesame seed used, the roast level, and how those seeds are processed. Look for a light-colored tahini that is quite runny.
