Shopping List
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil or grapeseed oil
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium tamari
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 2 heaping tablespoons ginger, chopped
  • 2 scallions, chopped (white and light green parts only)

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, ginger, and scallions. Cook for 1 minute, stirring often.
  2. Step 2: Add the remaining water, tamari, and sugar to the pan. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced slightly and smells quite fragrant.
  3. Serve: Enjoy over Roasted Salmon, Air Fryer Tofu, or Mandarin Spinach Salad.
