Shopping List
  • 1 pound sweet potato (about 2 medium-sized potatoes)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • salt, and pepper, to taste

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 410°F. Clean the sweet potatoes (peeling is optional) and slice them into french-fry shapes or thin wedges.
  2. Step 2: Place on a baking sheet and season with the oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the potatoes out one by one over the sheet (avoid overcrowding so they get nice and browned).
  3. Step 3: Bake at 420 for about 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Once they look browned on the edges, take them out.
  4. Serve: Enjoy with a little extra salt on top.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: Want to make these in an air-fryer? Air fry the seasoned sweet potato fries at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes total (you might need to add a little more time if they are thick slices).
